Mr. Alexander is a licensed California attorney and owner of the Law Offices of Daniel J. Alexander II. Mr. Alexander is admitted to practice before all the state courts in California, as well as the United States District Court for the Southern, Central, Eastern and Northern Districts of California, as well as the United States Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Alexander helps entrepreneurs successfully navigate the maze of government rules, regulations, and laws in the pursuit of their business aspirations. Mr. Alexander received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts Degree (Magna Cum Laude) in International Relations (Double Minor in Economics and Russian) from Howard University. He is currently pursuing his Masters of Business Administration from California State University, Fullerton. Mr. Alexander spent thirteen years practicing corporate law and business litigation in major law firms before deciding to go out on his own and offer high quality business counsel to entrepreneurs. His current clients operate in a variety of industries including apparel, contracting, hard money lenders, real estate investors, franchisees, real estate developers, medical, sports, entertainment and hospitality. Mr. Alexander advises individuals and private businesses concerning business formations, ongoing operations, and acquisitions. Additionally, Mr. Alexander works with clients to design and implement estate plans which are complementary to their business concerns in order to create a comprehensive and cohesive overall plan to protect their family and business. Mr. Alexander's business transactions practice includes counseling clients regarding their choice of business entity, contracts, intellectual property, corporate governance, employment issues, securities issuance and repurchase, and business sales and acquisitions.
Mr. Alexander's estate planning practice offers clients a full suite services including negotiating and drafting premarital agreements, wills, and trusts to meet each client's unique needs. Outside the practice of law, Mr. Alexander is involved in several entrepreneurial ventures including business consulting, sports and entertainment management, real estate development and e-commerce. Mr. Alexander has also formed a private equity group to invest in small and mid-market companies. |
